Promises in a Jar

For my birthday my mom sent me 21 promises from the Bible, among other things all with the 21 theme.

I loved the promises but wasn't sure where to put them.... until I thought of the empty pickle jar sitting on my counter. I am going to put this jar at an easy to reach place in my house so when i'm having a hard day or just need to be reminded of God's love for me I can pick one out and be refreshed.

As I use the promises I think I'll make more. They are so easy to make. Simple type (or copy and paste from online) the verses on a piece of paper and then cut the paper in strips so their is one verse per paper. then roll them up and place them in the jar.

  3. What an awesome idea! I'm going to put 52 in a jar, one for each week, and place the jar so everyone in my family can use them! Thanks for sharing! May God's peace and love fill your heart!

  4. I really like this idea. I'm going to host a women's get together with some women from my church and thought I'd give this out as part of the party favors...I'm not to familar with the Bible yet, so where can I find most of these verses?

  7. This is a great idea. I've been using a devotional t do my daily Bible study and prayer but am growing dissatisfied with the authors choices. I plan to make my own "Promise Jar" to select my daily verse to study and SOAP. Thanks!
